Mud x APYACC Partnership

The APY Art Centre Collective has collaborated with Mud Australia on ceramics projects and limited edition, hand painted art works since 2020. These hand painted art works use sculptural pieces from Mud’s range that act as a blank canvas for applied design by APY artists. The resulting works are unveiled in online showcases and have been met with extraordinary market demand, with several releases selling out within minutes. The ongoing partnership between the APYACC and Mud aims to facilitate ceramic practice and industry for APY artists and communities, with MUD recently assisting the APYACC on the design and fit out of a new ceramics space at their Thebarton studio. All ceramics sales follow the APYACC commission structure, with 80% going directly to APY art centres and artists, and 20% reinvested in APYACC projects such as investing in kilns and ceramic materials.
